What is a gas-liquid filter? What is the use of a gas-liquid filter? 

Gas-liquid filter: A gas-liquid filter is also called a gas-liquid filter, a foam-breaking net, a filler net, a gas-liquid net, a foam-catching net, a woven wire mesh, a knitted wire mesh, a braided wire mesh, and a shielded metal wire mesh. 

It is a wire mesh woven in a special form, used in the chemical industry to make wire mesh demisters and wire mesh demisters, catalysts, and to remove or capture droplets and liquid foam entrained in the gas during distillation, evaporation, absorption and other processes; 

used in the manufacturing process of mechanical equipment for oil-gas separation, oil-water separation, gas-liquid separation, shock absorption and silencing, sealing elements, etc.; 

used in the field of environmental protection for dust removal, water removal, demisting, air purification, flue gas desulfurization, water treatment equipment, and oil-water separators; 

separation and filtering devices for various occasions; filter elements for automobiles and tractors; 

sealing, shock absorption (shockproof), silencing and exhaust purification components in automotive parts; shielding devices for electromagnetic interference of electronic and electrical products, etc. are widely used. 

Gas-liquid filter products are widely used in my country: petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, light industry, medicine, metallurgy, aerospace, shipbuilding, automobile, machinery, silencer and shock absorber, pressure vessel, drying tower, absorption tower, desulfurization tower, dewatering, demisting and dust removal of environmental protection projects; used for gas-liquid separation and gas-water separation in filtering, screening, catalyst and distillation, evaporation, absorption and other process. 

Types and application fields of gas-liquid nets The materials of gas-liquid nets are:

⑴ Metal wire: various stainless steel wires, galvanized iron wires, copper wires, nickel wires, titanium wires, alloy wires;

⑵ Non-metallic wires: nylon wires, polyethylene wires, polypropylene wires, F46 wires, glass fiber wires ;

⑶ Metal wire and non-metallic wire interweaving

Wire mesh demisting technology: Wire mesh demisting is to make the air flow pass through multiple layers of fine metal wire mesh to achieve the purpose of demisting. For droplets with a diameter of 3-5 microns, the demisting efficiency is generally 97~98%. Its mechanism of action is that when the fine liquid droplets entrained in the gas phase pass through the wire mesh of the wire mesh demister, the droplets hit the demisting flat wire and are adhered or adsorbed. After repeated adsorption, the extremely small droplets condense into large droplets. Under the action of gravity, the droplets move downward along the wire diameter of the flat wire, while continuing to adsorb the entrained droplets in the gas. The condensed and enlarged droplets flow to the bottom of the demister and become droplets and fall down.
